Executive summary: Helping Hand Foundation established with a view to help those unfortunate poor women, girls & youths through different development approaches. 

The project area in Maharashtra state of India is neglected and very remote. Our targeted beneficiaries are middle educated unemployed women and drop out from Computer Skill education for their poverty. They have some education but they have not minimum skill and knowledge to get the employment opportunity. We have not enough of financial resources for extending support to address the issues which are important for the targeted women and youths. 

Helping Hand Foundation have a team of human resources who are well qualified and experienced to project implementation. The organization follows regular monitoring, sharing experiences and immediate action for the successful implementation the activities. Helping Hand Foundation specially targeted to ensure its support to develop of the women, youths to building their capacity and skills.

Project title: Computer Literacy Skill Unemployed Women and youth

Project summary: By this project disadvantaged unemployed unskilled young women and youth those who have some education and dropout from higher education for their poverty, they will get the employment opportunity through acquiring skill training on computer, Internet, basic knowledge for job and will get job linkage to various job providers companies, organizations, bank, NGOs, government and also community ICT center will be established where women and girls will get the facility of computer and Internet use.

Need statement: Computer literacy training is very costly in this area and not available in the community level, so the poor women/girls does not getting the opportunity to learn computer literacy Helping Hand Foundation has taken initiatives for those unemployed women but has not enough of financial resources for extending support to address the issues which are important for the targeted women. It is very essential that knowledge of Computer Literacy is very essential to get employment opportunity at present digital world. We have communicated with some job provider organization (Bank, NGO, Com. etc) but they informed they are looking the person those who have minimum skill on computer & Internet.

Project Goal: By end of the project, unemployed young women and youth will get employment opportunity as skilled citizens through acquiring computer and Internet training and community women and youth will access to Helping Hand Foundation facility and disadvantage women will be empowered socially and economically.

Project Objective: Create employment opportunity of unemployed disadvantaged women through providing skill training on computer and provide access to facility in the community to establish their social and economic empowerment. 

Activities: The project will provide skill training on computer, Internet and basic training on gender issue and personal safety in workplace to unemployed poor young and will provide job linkage with various job provider organizations. Physically challenged and person from female headed household will given priority. We will also establish community level center where women and youth will get the facility of computer and Internet use. 

Course duration: 3 months for each batch 

Participants for each batch: 30-40 participants for each batch, four batches will be taken in a year.

Long term impact: Through this project unemployed poor women and youth will be skilled on computer/Internet, gender issues and personal safety, they will get job, family members will be benefited, other school going family members will be able to continue their education, they will be economically and socially empowered.

 Project Cost :

 Computer 25 nos = 1,000,000

 5 year rent = 900,000

 Salary of 5 teachers for 5 years = 4,500,000

 5 year light bill = 180,000

 Cctv 4 pic per 9000 * 4 = 36,000

 Puen sallary per month 15000 * 12 = 180,000

 Bio matrix machine 1 pic = 5,000

 Others = 500,000

 Total = 7,301,000/-

 Donations to Helping Hand Foundation are tax-exempt under Section 80G of /the Indian 

Income Tax Act,1961 (For Indian Taxpayers )
